Need some help collecting the 2010 passout Student's information from College. We would be really happy if somebody who's in Kolkata right now can contact college and get the 2010 passout Student's data so that we can upload that into Alumni Database which will help 2010 passout student batch to register and connect thru our beloved Alumni.

Finally we are able to import 2009 passout student's data into Alumni - thus students from (BTech/CSE/2009), (BTech/IT/2009), (BTech/ECE/2009), (BTech/AEIE/2009), (BTech/CHE/2009), (BTech/BIO/2009), (MTech/CSE/2009), (MTech/AEIE/2009), (MTech/BIO/2009), (MCA/MCA/2009) and (MBA/MBA/2009)
can now REGISTER and login to Alumni. We've also imported most of their E-Mail ID stored in College and now in process of sending invitation to that E-Mail ID as well.
- New: Inactive students who remember their password can change their incorrect E-Mail ID now!

New: Inactive students who remember their password can change their incorrect E-Mail ID now! If you've mistyped your email ID during the registration process, then you would not be able to use either "Forgot password" or "Resend validation Email" because both of 'em would be sent to your incorrect email ID. If you know your password, then after login, you should be able to see the links at your left to reset your email ID.
- New: Reminder email will be sent for students with no Account Activity for at least 2 months or more.

From now onwards a reminder e-mail will be sent for students with no Account Activity for at least 2 months or more. This way we would to keep in touch with students who're not login to their accounts for a period of time and try to find out if they are having any problem with the account. This e-mail will be triggered every 7 days until they at least login once.

The automated E-mail for Activation reminder will now be sent to all INACTIVE students every 5 days until they activate their account. This is our way to ensure that the INACTIVE students are updated with the information about Alumni and they get the activation mail which might have been lost before due to some mail-bounce or any other problem.

Now new users can resend the validation e-mail and existing users can resend the e-mail validation link, if somehow the e-mail don't reaches the very first time. Please look for the Link "Resend Verification/Validation E-mail" link while login/update e-mail section.

We would like people to contribute to our RSS Feed with relevant data for our Alumni Association. With that being said, we also do not want any junk data to be populated here. So please make sure that it is indeed relevant to HITK Alumni. The content would be subject to approval from our Admin team, and if approved will be available in our RSS Feed. A mail will be sent to Admin Team the moment somebody enters a new feed data here and its their responsibility to approve/reject that feed. The entire feed is updated every time you visit the feed or every time a feed data is approved by the Admin team.

Since Faculties were unable to view detailed informations about ex-students of HITK, we have created one dummy user (Name: HITK Faculty, Roll Number : 015100) so that all faculties can login to the website and explore. Please contact HITK Administration and and college authorities for the login credentials.
